Are you trained in an allied health or other health care career field and looking for work? DCCCD’s Health Careers Resource Center has the event for you!
You’ve heard it before and we’ll say it again: The health care industry is booming! In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that health care is the fastest-growing industry in the nation, with a projected increase of 2.3 million jobs by 2024.
So you’ve finished working toward a degree or certificate in a health care related career field. Now what? For most of you, the answer to that is probably, “Now I need to find a job!” Well, DCCCD’s Health Careers Resource Center has created a website to help you do just that.
Thousands of students walk through the doors of our seven colleges each year, and between them all, there are thousands more reasons why. Because of that, sometimes we like to take a little time to cast some light on a specific program, why those students chose it and how it’s helped them on their own personal road to success.
