Students Making Memories at Rangers Games This Season. You Can Too!

Dallas College’s partnership with the Texas Rangers is going strong this season with students making lifetime memories at Globe Life Field.

The latest was North Lake volleyball star Emma Zuege singing the national anthem before the Rangers-Rays game on Tuesday, July 18. Zuege performed the song before 34,677 fans, and the Rangers went on to a 5-3 victory that night. (Zuege is pictured above; photo courtesy of Texas Rangers).

Earlier this season, another student had a similar moment. Angel Rodriguez, a standout first baseman at Dallas College’s Eastfield Campus, threw out the first pitch before Rangers-Blue Jays game on Saturday, June 17. The Rangers won that game, 4-2.

The Dallas College and Rangers vibes will be strong once again Tuesday, Aug. 1. That’s Dallas College Night at the ballpark with the Rangers taking on the Chicago White Sox.

There is a co-branded Rangers/Dallas College hat available by purchasing tickets through this link. As a reminder, Dallas College students and employees can also buy discounted tickets all season through this promotion code (login required).
