Dallas College WorkReadyU and the Culinary, Pastry and Hospitality (CPH) program are partnering to provide no-cost professional career training to qualifying individuals. That’s right, friends: free job training to get you into a line of work projected to grow by 30% (chefs and head cooks) and 24% (food service managers) through 2024.
Earning a Culinary Arts Foundations certificate is designed to provide you with the skills necessary to get hired as a prep cook, cook or pastry cook. You’ll learn fundamental cooking and baking techniques as well as advanced cooking skills. Those classes will begin in the Spring 2021 semester. It’s also the first step to earning your associate degree in Culinary Arts or Bakery/Pastry Arts.
All you need to do is sign up for our final orientation of the year, set for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14.
