A “marketer” can refer to just about anybody. They can be flashy, yet analytical; they can be salesy but still subtle; outgoing or quiet. Marketing itself can involve a number of different tasks – research, design, promotion, retail sales and more. A marketing skill set can also come in handy in a huge array of industries, which is why DCCCD offers programs in both Business Marketing and Fashion Marketing.
I’m a 47-year-old college student that chose to put off completing my college education in order to raise a son and be a wife.
College is one of the most important steps in our lives. Many of us have dreamed of this moment since we were kids and as we grew older, our dreams of college grew with us.
I was enrolled in college once before I came to DCCCD. In 2010, I was accepted into Suffolk University as a freshman.
With so many things going on, you’re bound to forget something. Here’s a list we’ve put together to try and help keep you on track for the Fall 2016 semester.
Hello to Jade! Jade is a graduate of our culinary arts program, and the ad she filmed with us reflects that. She now runs a catering company called Made by Jade, where she makes food and pastries for events, showers and more. You can see her showing off her skills in the finished ad at the end of this post.
Depending on how long you’ve been a college student, you may or may not have learned by now how important it is to develop good writing chops. (If you haven’t learned this yet, then just trust us — it’s really, really important.)
Meet Kimberly! Kimberly is currently a student at Eastfield, and she worked with us to produce one of our new 2016 ads in Spanish. Like many others, she has been a great help in the production of the new campaign!
Our DCCCD 2016 ad campaign student profiles continue today with Mallory! Mallory worked with us as an extra to help us promote our Nursing and health care programs.
Meet Sherrilyn! Sherrilyn studies Child Development at Eastfield, and she stepped up to help us promote Computer Information Technology programs for the 2016 ad campaign.
