The Dallas County Community College District will become one college, called Dallas College, in 2020. Students had the chance to discuss their thoughts about this transition during a World Café.
IncludED is a new collaborative initiative between DCCCD and our campus bookstore partner, Follett. It’s designed to make the college experience more affordable and accessible for students.

The mINiTERN program is a partnership between companies and DCCCD that provides students with real-world experience, helping them build marketable skills.
RAVE Guardian includes information specific to district police activities, as well as the ability to call DCCCD police through the app and receive push notifications in case of a campus closure or an emergency.
While some 21-year-old students are out hitting the town, Genesis Escamilla is home hitting the books. She is a full-time college student, a full-time employee and a full-time single mom.
“I am full-time everything,” says Genesis laughing. “I just take flex term classes so it isn’t an overload all at once.”

Surrounded by nature, away from the hustle of college life, student leaders from all the DCCCD colleges gathered at the Prothro Retreat by Lake Texoma to attend the four-day DCCCD Summer Leadership Retreat from May 16 to May 19. Club officers and members are selected for their active role as student leaders on their respective campuses.
