Construction jobs are in demand in north Texas, with expected employment growth of 27 percent by 2024, according to the Texas Workforce Commission. This surge affects all areas of construction, including (but not limited to) areas like: electrical technology, plumbing, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, carpentry and welding.
The decision to register for summer college classes is not an easy one. Students struggle with the choice between taking a relaxing hiatus from their studies or using the summer to get ahead (or catch up).

Computer aided design and drafting (often called CADD or CAD) aids in the creation, modification, analysis or optimization of a design — think like a machine part, or the design of a building. Typically, CADD output is in the form of electronic files for print, machining or other manufacturing operations.
