As part of our commitment to improving the student experience at Dallas College, we’re upgrading our Wi-Fi infrastructure across all our locations to make it faster, more secure and easier to use. The update should be completed by May 15, just in time for the start of the May term.
As part of the upgrade, you will need to connect to a new Wi-Fi network name (SSID): dc-secure.
Please note that you will be prompted to use your Dallas College ID and password to connect to the new network.
Old SSIDs (Wi-Fi names):
- dcccd-wireless
- DC-Student
- DC-Guest
New SSID (Wi-Fi name):
- dc-secure
If you have a Dallas College Online Services account, you should always connect to dc-secure for the best Wi-Fi experience.
You can start using the new SSID today. The upgraded, faster and more secure network will be fully ready by May 15.
