About the Aerospace Expo and Summit
At the summit, you can explore exciting career opportunities in aerospace as well as training opportunities at Dallas College.
The event kicks off with a keynote address from Doug Lang, Federal Aviation Administration deputy regional administrator (Southwest Region). Breakout sessions will explore careers in airport operations and crew, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles and drones. A special grand finale will feature the Dallas Police Department’s Bell 407GX Helicopter landing on campus (pending availability).
Attendees at the summit will have the opportunity to learn about a drone workshop we are hosting in partnership with Unmanned Safety Institute (USI) on April 7-11 at the Brookhaven Campus.
The metroplex is home to major airline companies and two of the busiest airports in the country, making Dallas-Fort Worth one of the industry’s top markets.
DFW International Airport was the fifth-busiest airport in the world in 2024, according to Official Airline Guide. Dallas Love Field Airport, meanwhile, is the busiest medium-sized airport in the country with 17.9 million passengers in 2024.
