Counseling Has More for You

Last updated on June 20, 2024

Did you know all students have access to free mental health counseling through Dallas College’s Counseling and Psychological Services? That’s right — free!

And now, counseling has more: More counselors, more appointments and more services.

More Counselors

Each campus has its own designated professional counselors who can meet with you one-on-one to discuss a wide range of concerns to help you feel and function better.

Some common issues you might address include:

  • Personal issues: anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, disordered eating
  • Relationship issues: partners, coworkers, peers, family
  • Developmental issues: adjustments, acculturation, identity issues
  • Other issues: trauma, assault, substance use
  • Academic concerns: motivation, test anxiety, perfectionism

Meet the counselors, learn about their specialties, and see who’s available on your campus.

More Appointments

Dallas College’s professional counselors offer both virtual and in-person appointments. They can also be reached by phone 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Friday until 5 p.m. with questions you may have about counseling services.
