Dallas College Partnering With Parkland Health on Women’s Wellness Mobile Clinic

Join Dallas College, Parkland Health, Trust Her and Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL) on Thursday, May 23, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Campus to check out the new Women’s Wellness Mobile Clinic — secured thanks to a grant from the Communities Foundation of Texas.

A mobile unit, the clinic will soon be traveling to Dallas College’s seven main campuses, providing a convenient way for women and girls in the community to receive health services, including free and low-cost family planning services.

Available services include:

  • Various birth control methods
  • Family planning
  • Sexual health education
  • Financial counseling

The ribbon-cutting event on May 23 will provide students, staff and community members the chance to tour the unit, learn about services, and hear key details from Dallas College leaders and partners.
