Dallas College Hosts Japan’s Kansai Gaidai University

Dallas College hosted an official from Japan’s Kansai Gaidai University earlier this semester as they met with students and toured both the Richland and Brookhaven Campuses. It marked another step forward for Dallas College’s Office of International Engagement and Global Competitiveness (IEGC), which continues to build relationships with various international schools.

Dallas College and Kansai Gaidai are exploring partnership opportunities for the future. Dallas College has three students currently enrolled at Kansai Gaidai.

Rafael Linares (pictured below), a Dallas College student currently studying at Kansai Gaidai, attended one of the classroom sessions with Kansai Gaidai Dean Linda Bohaker. Linares spoke about his experience to fellow Richland Campus students.

Zoe Philllips is another Dallas College product studying at Kansai Gaidai, and raved about her experience recently.

This is just one of many possible learning opportunities for Dallas College students through the college’s IEGC office.

Current and prospective students interested in studying abroad are encouraged to visit the IEGC webpage often as new experience opportunities are updated frequently.
