It’s somehow March again, which means we’re about a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, depending on when you consider it starting.
(I go with March 11, but no judgment if you have a different start date. Time is a flat circle, anyway.)
Point being we’re still in this thing, so Dallas College wants to offer you help with a free online Getting Connected Resource Fair on March 10. The virtual event will give you information on affordable food, legal and rent assistance, health insurance, access to Dallas College counselors and emergency aid.
The fair starts at 2:30 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Arrive and leave when you need to — presentations will be occurring every 30 minutes. The fair will feature various breakout rooms on Microsoft Teams, including:
- General Information
- Career and Unemployment Information
- Dallas College Emergency Resources
- Food Assistance and SNAP Benefits
- Free and Reduced Cost Medical Resources
- Free Legal Assistance
- Mental Heal Information and Resources
- Rental Assistance
- Scholarships Information
