Federal Work-Study provides students with need-based financial aid through part-time employment while they attend college. The jobs are designed to provide real-life work experience while offering flexible scheduling around your classes. With a Dallas College Work-Study position, you will earn $11.54/hour for up to 19.5 hours a week.
To be eligible for a Federal Work-Study job, you must:
- Have a completed financial aid file
(check your status in the Financial Aid section of eConnect) - Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
- Have no prior institutional balance or blocks
- Meet Dallas College Satisfactory Academic Progress standards
- Be enrolled/certified in at least six hours for Fall and Spring semesters
(at least one hour for Summer semester)
