Amid a global pandemic, awareness is key to overcoming the challenges our online society currently faces. That’s why Dallas College believes it’s more important than ever to set the stage for conversations surrounding cyber security and promoting online safety.
For the 11th straight year, our college is proud to host National Cyber Security Awareness month. This year’s kick-off event takes place on Friday, Oct. 2, and is being hosted virtually by the Information Privacy and Security Office. The presentation is open to all faculty, staff and students. Join us for a discussion about being cyber smart during these trying times, including learning how to identify and deliver solutions to real-life challenges faced while online.
Dallas College is excited to welcome Chad Adams, cybersecurity advisor for Region VI at Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in Tyler, Texas, as this year’s keynote speaker.
