Maymester, Flex Term or Online Classes

If sitting in a classroom all summer doesn’t appeal to you, you may want to check out Maymester, Flex Term or online classes.  To view all of your options, browse the full DCCCD Summer 2019 schedule.

If you’re taking Maymester or Flex Term classes, the dates listed above might not apply — and you should definitely check with the Business/Cashier’s Office for details.

Why Can’t I Register for This Class Online?

There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to register for a class, but don’t fret! Some reasons include: You haven’t completed TSI assessment testing, you have academic or financial blocks, you haven’t submitted transcripts, you have fewer than 12 hours of college level credit or you haven’t met the prerequisite for each class. When in doubt, meet with an advisor.

Why Do I Need to Send My Transcript?

We need your transcripts to see what courses you have taken at other institutions. One of the primary reasons for this is because many courses have prerequisites that must be met before you can register. Your transcripts are the main way we find out if you’ve taken those prerequisites elsewhere before enrolling in one of the colleges of DCCCD. Transcripts are evaluated by DCCCD Admissions/Registrar’s offices, and you will need to have your transcripts sent to the college you plan to attend. (Still have questions about transcripts? Check out some of our frequently asked questions about transcripts and evaluation.)
