Does Financial Aid Pay for Wintermester?

Last updated on October 10, 2019

Does financial aid pay for Wintermester? The answer is yes. But with that said, financial aid is based on eligibility, even for Winter term. What does that mean? If you register for a Wintermester course and your financial aid file is complete with awards assigned on your award letter, classes will remain on your schedule.

One of the primary ways to stay eligible for financial aid throughout your college career is to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). The SAP calculation takes place after your professors post all of your grades for the semester. Once your updated SAP status posts to eConnect, we can then establish that you’re still in good standing. Once that and all other eligibility requirements are met, funds can be moved forward for you.
