Dallas ISD Goes to College

College Help for High School Students/Graduates: What to Expect
When you attend Destination Registration, we’ll help you accomplish the following:
- Walk you through the steps for admission, including filling out the application for the Rising Star scholarship.
- Help you sort out financial aid, including DCCCD’s financial aid verification process.
- Discuss our various career and technical programs with you, so you can start thinking about which path might be the right one for you. (Remember, college is for everyone – we offer more than 100 majors featuring one- and two-year degrees and certificates in a huge array of industries. Whatever your field of interest may be, chances are good we have a program for that, with options covering everything from accounting to welding – so quite literally from A to nearly Z.)
Last but not least, and certainly very convenient: register in advance and DISD representatives will have your final high school transcript ready for you when you show up the day of the event. So, what are you waiting for?
